Independent Economic Commitment Control

Before an AI agent commits, ECC independently checks whether the proposed economic action is supportable relative to the best evidence-backed alternative available now.

ECC is currently offered only for controlled pilot evaluation. This page does not represent general public availability.

The missing control question

✓Agent identified and authorized
✓Policy compliant
✓Within spending limits
✓Economically plausible in isolation
!
Still materially worse than a supported alternative.

ECC intervenes before the commitment becomes binding.

Permission is not the same as economic supportability.

Agent identity, delegated authority, business intent, runtime policy, spending limits and transaction controls can all pass. That still does not answer whether the specific commitment is economically acceptable relative to a better supported alternative.

ECC is designed for that narrow boundary: the moment after an agent or optimizer proposes an action, but before that action becomes economically binding.

Better than today can still be the wrong commitment.

Illustrative synthetic scenario for control-model explanation. It is not a customer savings claim.

Current state€650,000

Existing annual economic state.

Agent proposal€620,000

€30,000 improvement versus current state.

Supported alternative€571,800

Evidence-backed counterfactual available before commitment.

Adverse differential€48,200

Material opportunity cost versus the supported alternative.

Economic commitment passes the control boundary.

ESCALATEHOLD

Commitment requires intervention before execution.

DENYBLOCK

Commitment must not proceed through the controlled path.

A decision is not enough. The control must leave evidence.

ECC produces a deterministic Decision Receipt so the intervention can be inspected, persisted and verified after the event.

ECC Early Access is being evaluated with teams already introducing meaningful automation into procurement workflows where economically material commitments are prepared or proposed before execution.

Test your economic commitment boundary.

A narrow pilot uses a small number of representative procurement or renewal cases to determine whether ECC exposes a real independent-control gap before commitment.

Low setupControlled exports are sufficient for the first evaluation.
No downstream execution requiredECC can be evaluated without giving it transaction authority.
Evidence-first outputNo unsupported savings claims. Only defensible economic deltas are reported.
